The Five Most Gruesome Sites In Delhi… Let’s Know The Fear
Delhi is
energetic in every sphere. People here are busy and spontaneous. As it is the
capital of our country, we will find every possible thing and no doubt it is
amazingly molded. It was the main centre during the Mughal era and they have
transformed the city into a beautiful palace with the help of their
architectural construction. We will find not one but many forts and mosques
which will astonish us. As the city itself holds so much of history, the city
has not been able to erase the unexplainable events which still are as alive as
the city itself. You would not believe but there are many places in Delhi which
are famous for their paranormal stories. Stories are often over-coated when it
passes from one person to another and it is considered just to be like the
other made up storyline but when people started experiencing the same unusual
events then it becomes concrete, so I will here narrate some incidents from
Delhi which are famous for their paranormal activities. I dare you, Delhi is
just not a place to tour around, you can find much more than that and here I am
going to give a small glimpse of that.
Masjid Which Will Spooke You Out
Fig: Jamali Kamali Masjid
It is
believed that during 1528 two Sufi saints namely Shaikh
Jamali Kamboh and his aide Kamali used to preach at the very spot where the
present Jamali Kamali Masjid is build up. It is a part of the Mehrauli
Archaeological Park and it got its name from the two famous saints. Both of
their bodies were buried here after their death. Now the query is why this
place comes under a haunted site. Nobody knows the reason why they hear
growling of animals, strange cries and sounds which often startle the people
around. There is no valid explanation of what was the cause of death for
those two saints. What exactly had happened to them that they are still staying
in this place and scaring the people for without any reason. The place closes
at 6pm sharp so that the tourists would not get hurt, even though there has
only been a complaint about people getting slapped invisibly.
The Lady In White
Let me warn
you from the very beginning that the thing which I am going to tell you right
now will seem like a movie or a fake story for children to scare them but the
truth is the story comes from experience. Delhi cantt is a green land spread
vastly. The place does look peaceful but please do not get carried away by its
look because it is the place where people have noticed a lady in white saree
who would ask for a ride. Now this is why I told you from the beginning that
the story seems like a movie but it has happened many a times that people came
to know that there is a lady who would request for a ride and if she is given
the ride then she would disappear but if she is denied then she would race and
overtake the vehicle. She has not harmed anyone but isn’t it just enough that
she wears a white saree and comes out from nowhere and disappears just like
that. The story says that the lady might have been a hitchhiker who got lost in
the greenery or met an unfortunate death and her spirit has never been able to
leave the place but the strange thing is why would she ask for the ride and disappear.
Yes, one thing can be possible, she might have wanted to leave the place but I
guess she can never leave the place now.

The Headless Soldier
Once upon a
time there was a brave soldier. He was tall and handsome. His life took a turn
when he falls in love with this lady. He was head over heels for her. He was
always in her thoughts. His love comes to an end when his lady left him and got
married to some other guy and that was the end of his life too. He shot his own
head with his own gun and fell on the ground without his head and he is buried
in the Lothian Cemetery and the story is that his ghosts often roam the
cemetery with his head on his hand. It is such a melancholy story and sad life
for that soldier because even taking his life; he did not die and still have to
be on the same land where he was betrayed without any courtesy.

Lothian
Cemetery is the oldest cemetery in Delhi build during the 18th
century. Cemetery itself brings eerie feeling but this particular cemetery has
many stories attached to it. One of the famous reason for its haunted
environment is because of the myriads of unnamed soldiers were buried, who were
killed during the uprising of the 1857 revolt. Other story is about a lady who
sits under the tree and offer water to the people but disappear mysteriously. But
the most famous story associated with this cemetery is the headless soldier who
roams around the cemetery.
Khooni Darwaza
As the name
suggests, this place is named among the best haunted place in Delhi. The story
of this place is quite historical. When the 1857 rebellion for the British was going
on, General William Hodson was in charge. The place got its name from the cold-blooded
murder of the three prince of Bahadur-Shah-Jafar by William Hodson after
uprooting the sepoy mutiny. The place is considered haunted because people have
noticed blood dripping from the ceilings. And not only the blood, people have
heard cries and noises. It is believed that the soul of three princes is still
captured in this place. It is not hard to believe that how humiliating it would
have been for the princes to be murdered in front of his citizen. During those
times it might have been the most humiliating thing to fail in front of his
citizen and that has happen with the three princes and may be that is why their
souls are still trapped in this place. Historical and a haunted site too, quite
a exciting place to visit but faint-hearted should avoid the place because who
knows what will be the mood of the princes of the day and what will they be
planning to do that day, either the dripping blood to remind you of their
murder or the noises to make you feel their situation or even it can be possible
that they might show you something new, so beware.

The Screaming House At Greater Kailash, W-3 Delhi
20 years ago
an aged couple was murdered and their dead body was found months later in an
underground water tank. The culprit was never been caught and the case remained
unsolved. Later the relatives came to take the house but due to some property
issues, the house remains unclaimed. This is just like some daily news but the
main events are happening in this house till today which is not being covered
by the media. This house is located in Greater Kailash 1, W-3. If you visit
Greater Kailash 1 and ask for W-3 then you will be stopped by the local people
for the information regarding the house. The thing is, the murder has happened
20years ago but still people can hear the unusual sobbing, screaming and
howling and crying from the house. Even today people do not dare to walk past
the house alone during the night. The case was unsolved, so we do not know how
the murderer has committed a crime and how come nobody has noticed anything for
months, strange but true.

How much
time science will take to bring out some practical explanation about all this
unexplainable things? How long all this trapped souls will be scattered all
around? What will it take to explain their world and their nature of being
unusual? What is the line that is dividing the world of living and the dead?
What are the reasons behind all the inexplicable sounds? Myriads of questions
can asked in this field but answers will be few for now because there is no
valid explanation of all this but we do know that they can harm us and we have
to be careful that we may never pass their paths. But don’t you think it is
strange and funny in some other way that, these unexplainable things just
appear suddenly and make you scream and disappear just like that. So what can
be the logic here, is it just that they like to see people screaming or
something like that or is it their kind of having fun.
I was just
trying to brighten the mood here. I was just trying to say that whatever may be
the reason behind of all this paranormal activities, we should not be too scared
or too bold towards it because we all know that this things do exists even
though we do not have any concrete explanation.
