Population in India: Wonder or Blunder (Part 2)

All I have discussed in my last blog how the numbers increases the chances of success, but with success comes arrogance or you start attracting more enemies (Jealous ones: x)!! India already have many enemies not that I want to point to but still everyone knows, and being the country to have a good working population attracts a lot of problem lets discuss some of them briefly.

Education
It’s not a big secret that unlike the developed nation Indian education system is less practical and still a bit orthodox (As per some guys on the internet). India may be producing most number of doctors, engineers and science graduates but a big part of the population is not getting fundamental education, there are many schemes to eradicate this but these are not enough as the amount of money required to pull up the level of education is not being distributed properly.

Health Care

Everyone know Mother Teresa but little they know the reason behind the red cross as it may sound bizarre but Mother Teresa knew that because of population being high and hospitality being very less compared to the requirement in Africa and India there is a requirement for health care facility at low cost and greater reach. India is famous for many diseases like Dengue being the most common one, also malnutrition. As per one WHO report the nutrition requirement of more than 50% of Indian population is not fulfilled however many other NGOs and charitable hospitals have been established and health care is improving at a good rate

Water/pollution/Sanitation

India is not able to fulfill basic requirement for fresh water as of population and also the level of pollution is high as there are more vehicles running in India compared to many other countries. With this much population living in streets with low education sanitation becomes a big problem and raises unhygienic environment.

Poverty ,Infant and child mortality

Cannot be excluded as India is still a developing nation with 70% population still under international price line (Means 70% population is still poor) in the land of opportunity. India has considerably high infant rate and WHO has expressed it as a cause of worry recently.

Terrorism

Now a worldwide problem, but in a country like India many people are being targeted by these no-sense making groups easily, however recent incident have improved the administration and security throughout the country and government is spending good to increase the level of sophistication.

Unemployment

Indian government after it’s billion of spending is not able to provide employment, the cause is still over population and high administration cost.

As we already discussed there are two sides of a coin, India being the only country with 40% population leading to young development, but if not being provided a platform to win, the country will start degrading in growth part, the rest we will see in future !!
